Welcome to JLSNet, this site is designed and managed by James Lee Saunders, its primary aim is to provide help, tips and solutions for computer network related topics. With a selection of simple Cisco configuration examples and academic research papers, JLSNet can be used to help find networking solutions and examples without the hassle of 'trying to find a needle in a haystack' which can often be encountered searching large corporate websites such as Cisco's.
Within the Cisco Configs area of this site can be found a selection of tutorials, written in plain English for the average Joe Bloggs. Tutorials cover various home networking and beginner Cisco solutions. In most cases the tutorials were written as I myself learnt about the topic hopefully meaning they are to the point and uncomplicated.
The site also hosts a couple of academic projects written at Portsmouth University concerned with Wireless Networking and Cable Modem technologies.
Also on this site is the JLSNet blog. Containing thoughts, ideas, news and general ramblings. Feel free to leave a comment!
If anyone would like to write any simple Cisco configuration tutorials I would be more than happy to publish then on this site giving full credit where due, likewise if you are interested in furthering my university dissertation project on seamless wireless network roaming, please Contact Me with your ideas.
