New Pages Added: The NetSwap Project!

Posted by James Saunders on 20th May 2004

Now the NetSwap dissertation has been handed in and marked (btw, I have a provisional 72% - to be confirmed!) I have converted the report into HTML format, as well as the Cable Modem report both can be found in the Projects section of the site. * * SOON TO COME * * A new section will be added to JLSNet which will contain FREE CCNA tests. While I am !still! trying to study for my CCNA, I though I may as well share the knowledge and hopefully learn some more as I go. Only a couple of exams to go next week, then I have officially finished university!! Now onto some revision…..

More Small Layout Changes

Posted by James Saunders on 14th May 2004

The site has had a small layout re-haul, the tab button images have been changed back to their old cleaner look, background colours have been changed to match the particular section (Home, Cisco, Projects, NS-2). Google Adverts have been added down the side of each page. (It has also been observed that as Google tailors each advert to match the contents of the page it is being displayed on, it has to index the page more often, it is hoped that this may increase the Google rating too).

NetSwap dissertation project now handed in :-)

Posted by James Saunders on 4th May 2004

Ahhhhhh the relief! I have now finished and handed in my dissertation on Seamless Wireless Network Roaming (between GPRS and WiFi). This marks a huge milestone towards the end of my university degree. I now only have two more exams to go…yippee! The project, named NetSwap, can be found in the projects section of this site. I will probably be paying a little more attention to the site and have a couple of new tutorials to add very soon.
