Going to Live-8 tomorrow!!!
Posted by James Saunders on 1st July 2005
Well, it has been a very eventful last couple of weeks; sadly my first car died on the motorway (head gasket blown) and has been towed away to be scrapped, the Queen has been in Portsmouth for the Fleet Review, Trafalgar 200, Festival of the Sea, 2 job interviews (I had one today!), my sister has had a healthy baby boy called Dexter and my Grandparents had their 50th wedding anniversary! but there is one other event which is to top this lot off… LIVE-8!!!! I am so excited about going to see the many bands which will be playing in Hyde Park, London tomorrow.
For many years I have made myself a new-years resolution to go and see more live bands - I think this year I have fulfilled that resolution! I have to up early and get on the train with my lovely girlfriend Claire at 6 o’something in the morning so as to get a prime position to see the stage. I think initially I am going to regret getting up early but it will soon be surpassed by the excitement of the day ahead! Yay!
